The Kinitics Piston Pump (KPP) is a shape memory alloy-based actuator that uses Bundled Wire technology to deliver a precision stroke in a compact package. Displacement and flow control is possible through the addition of a linear sensor, while pressure control is possible through the use of a pressure sensor.

Kinitics controllers for the KPP
Kinitics controllers simplify using Kinitics DC linear actuators and piston pumps by interfacing easily with PLCs, control switches, relays, and standard I/O cards. Closed- and open-loop control using one or several inputs allows for a high degree of accuracy and repeatability while maintaining the actuator within recommended safety limits.
