Kinitics’ Bundled Wire technology uses shape memory alloy materials to deliver dynamic force and high precision in a compact package. With sub-newton force control and 5 µm precision, it can be applied to low-force cobot grippers, while industrial end-users can take advantage of forces up to 650 N.
For positioning, the KLA delivers strokes up to 7 mm with 5 µm precision — electrically powered, with only one moving part, and none of the backlash common to lead-screw and ball-screw actuators.
